Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 15 years of electrical experience.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment and reading schematics.
• Experience diagnosing DC equipment, generators, relays, motors and power supplies.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead general and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Perform maintenance and PMs on electrical systems.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot electrical/control circuits for plant utilities and equipment.
• Install transformers and overhaul equipment for maintenance and production.
• Choose fuses, circuit breakers, and overload relays for installation or replacement.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and follow national electrical codes.
• Operate and maintain 3-phase induction motors and in-plant power distribution systems.
• Diagnose and service plant electrical systems at multiple voltages.
• Diagnose issues in control circuits including motor control and PLC circuits.
• Configure and troubleshoot VFDs and basic pipe fitting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
