Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Cleveland, MS is seeking an engineer to lead plant projects and energy initiatives. You will develop schedules, use BMS/SCADA, and drive improvements aligning with cGMP standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of engineering experience, FDA manufacturing preferred.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving with cause mapping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Prioritize multiple manufacturing tasks.
  • Analyze scientific and statistical data.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Lean Manufacturing and 6S experience preferred.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
  • Gowning and controlled setting experience.
  • Shift flexibility and overtime availability.
  • Knowledge of facility utilities and energy conservation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules for plant facilities and utilities.
  • Apply BMS to track and report environmental conditions.
  • Generate and analyze trend reports from monitoring systems.
  • Lead energy-saving improvement projects across HVAC, water, and processes.
  • Lead project teams; manage capital projects and budgets.
  • Propose energy-saving ideas and facility improvements.
  • Update building prints and utility drawings.
  • Apply work order systems, change control, validations, CAPA.
  • Use cause mapping for problem solving.
  • Program utility controls using Allen-Bradley PLCs and SCADA.
  • Provide maintenance training on safety, cGMPs, JIBs.
  • Ensure work orders and PMs are performed and reported.
  • Analyze and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
  • Ensure facility/equipment compliance with cGMP and audit readiness.
  • Assist in procuring and installing new equipment.
  • Support environmental, health, safety programs and plant initiatives.
