Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Hayward, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support plant production by maintaining, repairing, and upgrading manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document work in the CMMS, ensuring safety and compliance with GDP and EHS standards.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of automated equipment maintenance, strong electrical and PLC knowledge, and clean room PPE experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience on automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of cGMP environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and process issues promptly.
• Maintain CMMS records with detailed work documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and GDP policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
