Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead piping and process design on industrial projects. You will develop conceptual layouts, perform stress analyses, prepare construction specifications, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on site.

Required: BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of experience; PE preferred; strong leadership and communication skills; proficiency with CAD and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Registration: Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of design standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with design and drafting standards and project scopes.
• On-site assistance during startup and construction support.
• Perform stress analysis, piping calculations, and material specifications.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce design calculations, sketches, and drawings for construction.
