Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to lead complex design efforts for industrial projects. You will perform complete mechanical design, stress analysis, piping calculations, and prepare construction specifications while coordinating with drafting and other disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience and PE preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complete design of complex mechanical engineering assignments under general supervision.
• Produce estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Develop construction specifications and check vendor/shop drawings for conformance.
• Conduct stress analysis and piping calculations; ensure codes and design criteria are met.
• Assist drafting group with layout and detailing; provide sketches and necessary details.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure timely information flow for project completion.
• Develop/assemble scopes and drawings into packages for procurement and pricing.
• Estimate construction materials and quantities; contribute to cost/cad schedules.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.
• Site support during startup and field data collection.
