Job summary

Branch Civil is seeking a dependable Pipe Foreman to coordinate pipeline operations and supervise pipe crews on highway/utility construction projects. The role involves supervising layout, installation, and assembly, planning with the Superintendent, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance on site.

You will oversee material storage, equipment operation, and daily reporting, while maintaining costs and meeting project goals. Travel is infrequent and 50+ hour weeks are typical.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification required; 30 hour certification preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience with highway/utility construction.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Pipe Foreman.
• Must have a valid driver’s license per Branch Fleet Policy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to use good judgement and make decisions independently.
• Ability to complete job with minimal supervision, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Supervises lay out, assembly and installation of various pipe sizes/types.
• Preplans and schedules pipe installation daily with Superintendent.
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment; enforce safety programs.
• Coordinate with Owner, Engineer and team; monitor materials and reports.
• Prepare daily reports, unit quantities, and material receipts; ensure quality and contract compliance.
