Branch's Civil Division is seeking a dependable Pipe Foreman to coordinate pipeline operations and oversee a pipe crew on utility projects. The Foreman works with Superintendents and Project Managers to plan layouts, installation, and assembly in Fayetteville, NC.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in highway/utility construction, 3+ years as a Pipe Foreman, OSHA certifications, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certified to enter confined spaces up to 15 feet, using ladders or crawling.
• 10 hour OSHA certification; 30 hour certification preferred.
• Knowledge of standards, specifications, codes, regulations and laws.
• OSHA and DOT guidelines knowledge.
• 5+ years’ highway/utility construction experience.
• 3+ years’ Pipe Foreman experience.
• Valid driver’s license and Branch Fleet policy compliance.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Good judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to complete job on time and within budget.

Aufgaben

• Builds job by plans and specifications as directed by supervisor.
• Lay out, assembly and installation of various sizes and types of utility pipe.
• Preplans and schedules pipe installation daily with the Superintendent.
• Ensure proper storage of materials and rented equipment.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Review Miss Utility policy and ensure employee compliance.
• Know inspection requirements and material/equipment requirements.
