Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• 7-9 years of experience in substation design and engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and substation layouts.
• PE License required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with industry standards (IEEE, NEC, NESC, NERC).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of 35kV to 500kV substation layouts.
• Provide team mentorship and performance oversight for three to five engineers/designers.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to ensure design consistency.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and BOMs.
• Ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
