Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MA Registered Pharmacy Technician with National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) or a MA Registered Pharmacy Intern.
• 5+ years hospital pharmacy experience and sterile compounding experience required.
• CPhT-Adv, CSPT, ability to teach complex pharmaceutical calculations, experience with computer systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restocks floor stock and automated dispensing machines.
• Enters charges/credits against patient profiles to ensure accurate billing.
• Monitors medication order reports; assigns meds to automated dispensing machines.
• Delivers medications in compliance with DEA, DPH & State Board regulations.
• Trains new staff in Central Pharmacy Operations and compounding procedures.
• Interfaces with hospital departments to implement pharmacy initiatives.
