Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support unit dose distribution, compounding, and medication delivery within the hospital pharmacy. The role requires MA licensure, CPhT certification within 60 days, and 1–3 years’ related experience.

You will work with pharmacists and nursing staff to ensure timely preparation and safe delivery of medications. Responsibilities include restocking ADSs, IV compounding per USP standards, and mentorship of students and technicians, with

Formación

High School diploma or GED required.
Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) via PTCB or ExCPT within 60 days of hire.
1-3 years related work experience required.
Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

Restocks ADSs and floor stock medications per Epic workflows.
Delivers medications in compliance with DEA, DPH and State Board regulations.
Prepares and delivers IV medications per USP 797/800 standards; maintains related records.
Compounds non-sterile products and repackages bulk supplies per USP 795/800.
Checks for expired medications and disposes per regulations.
Participates in training and mentorship of students and technicians.
Prepares sterile and non-sterile products including TPNs and chemotherapy per USP rules.
Suggests workflow improvements and assists Lead technicians.
Maintains staffing across multiple areas of the pharmacy.
