Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Sterile Products Pharmacy Technician in Massachusetts to prepare, store, and distribute compounded and non-compounded items under pharmacist supervision. You will manage inventories, complete compliance audits, assist with insurance billing and patient collections, and provide strong customer service.

You will follow USP and department policies, maintain records, and support QA activities in a fast-paced infusion setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active state certification with Board of Registration in Pharmacy in Massachusetts.
• 1+ years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store and distribute compounded and non-compounded items.
• Maintain inventory and perform audits.
• Handle insurance billing and patient collections.
• Provide internal and external customer service.
• Maintain pharmacy records and perform invoicing and receiving tasks.
• Coordinate with pharmacy team for compounding and QA.
