Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead day-to-day operations, hire and train staff, and ensure safe dispensing of prescriptions. You will oversee clinical services, inventory control, scheduling, and adherence to policies and laws.

You'll mentor pharmacists and technicians, drive profitability, and expand patient services while maintaining high-quality patient care and team performance. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• One year management experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduct performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implement pharmacy programs including finances, clinical services, and inventory.
• Educate and mentor pharmacists and technicians.
• Motivate team members to achieve results.
• Hold team accountable and grow the pharmacy business.
• Demonstrate leadership and development capabilities.
• Comply with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Perform clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
