Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations across our stores. You will hire staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure accurate dispensing, patient safety, and regulatory compliance while driving clinical services and profitability.

You will mentor pharmacists and technicians, implement Meijer policies, and lead continuous improvement in service quality and team performance.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community pharmacy.
• Management experience preferred.
• CPR certification and immunization certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduct pharmacist and technician performance reviews.
• Disciplinary actions as needed.
• Fill prescriptions accurately and safely.
• Oversee pharmacy programs, finances, inventory, and profitability.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy staff to be effective team members.
• Drive patient services and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Lead and develop the pharmacy team to grow the business.
