Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to plan, direct and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy. This role covers staffing, hiring, staff training, financial management, inventory control, scheduling, and ensuring patient safety in compliance with corporate policies and laws.

You will lead immunization programs, guide pharmacists and technicians, and drive profitability while maintaining high service quality.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Prepares and conducts performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Documents and applies disciplinary actions.
• Fills prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implements and executes pharmacy programs, including financial results, clinical services, labor, inventory, stock loss, security, patient services, and profitability of the pharmacy.
• Educates and mentors pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivates team members to perform to their highest level.
• Holds team members accountable for results with a growth mindset for the pharmacy business.
• Strong leadership and development capabilities.
• Competent with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Performs clinical services including immunizations.
