Job summary

Omnicare seeks a Pharmacist in Charge to lead the dispensing pharmacy and ensure compliance across operations. This is a 40-hour, full-time role based in Washington state.

You will supervise dispensing, monitor regulatory developments, educate staff on changes, implement quality assurance, and maintain licensure records. An active WA pharmacist license is required, with management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in Washington and in good standing.
• 1 year of management experience preferred in a Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for the dispensing pharmacy.
• Monitor regulatory developments and address changes with compliance staff.
• Educate staff on regulatory updates, recalls, and drug information.
• Implement quality assurance programs to improve patient care.
• Maintain licensure and technician registrations for staff.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting rules and regulations.
