Job summary

Omnicare seeks a Pharmacist in Charge to lead the LTC pharmacy operations and ensure high-quality patient care. You will supervise dispensing activities, manage staff, and uphold regulatory compliance within a complex care setting.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed pharmacist in Louisiana, in good standing.
• 1 year of management experience in Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager role preferred.
• Immunization certification or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dispensing pharmacy operations.
• Monitor regulatory and compliance developments and coordinate with Compliance Officer.
• Educate staff on regulatory changes, recalls, drug information, and investigations.
• Implement QA programs to improve patient care and resolve issues.
• Maintain licensure and technician registrations for staff.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
