Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge for the Omnicare Pharmacy division. This full-time role leads the pharmacy team, ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, and drives quality patient care.

You will supervise dispensing, implement policy, and work with leadership to maintain licensure and safety standards. A Kentucky pharmacist license and immunization certification are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Kentucky, in good standing.
• 1 year management or Pharmacy Manager experience preferred.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dispensing activities.
• Monitor regulatory, Board of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA developments.
• Educate staff on regulatory changes and drug information.
• Implement QA programs to improve patient care and safety.
• Ensure procurement, storage, security and disposition of drugs and devices.
• Maintain licenses and registrations for staff as required by law.
• Respond to board inquiries regarding compliance.
• Protect patient health information and privacy policies.
