Job summary

MedWiz Solutions, LLC in New York seeks a Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-in-Charge responsible for pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, medication safety, and quality oversight for the assigned pharmacy, partnering with operations leaders to maintain safe, effective services.

This role leads inspections, oversees records, mentors staff, and ensures policies stay current. A PharmD and active license with PIC eligibility are required, with 3–5+ years of pharmacist experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with PharmD or equivalent.
• Active, unrestricted license and PIC eligibility.
• Experience with pharmacy law, controlled substances, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill PIC responsibilities per law, regulation, licensure, and policy.
• Lead pharmacy practice standards, safety, and regulatory readiness.
• Support inspections, audits, quality events, and corrective actions.
• Provide leadership and training to pharmacists and technicians.
• Partner with facility leaders on staffing, workflow, and risk management.
• Monitor compliance, service quality, and operational performance.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure policy adherence.
