Intuit is seeking a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert (Level X5) to steer critical initiatives, own the most complex escalations, and govern SOPs and knowledge bases. The role entails coaching the team and building workforce capacity in a remote, hourly capacity.

You will guide TP1-TP3 staff, approve amended Federal/State returns, oversee WIP and aging reports, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to uphold compliance and drive process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years payroll tax experience with complex tax defect resolution.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary, real-time go-to technical expert for TP1, TP2, and TP3 staff.
• Own authoring, technical review, and formal approval of SOPs and KB articles.
• Conduct structured coaching sessions at least quarterly.
• Lead or contribute to team huddles, QA sessions, and stand-ups as backup facilitator.
• Maintain oversight of WIP, backlog, and aging reports to guide staffing.
• Resolve severe payroll tax notices and cross-jurisdictional penalties.
• Approve highly complex amended Federal and State returns with audit trails.
• Identify systemic trends and compliance risks with data-driven recommendations.
• Represent team in cross-functional meetings upholding compliance.
