Job summary

The NYC Financial Information Services Agency-Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) seeks a Supervisor for the Payroll Funding, Certification and ACH Unit (PFCAU) within the Payroll Banking and Accounting group. You will oversee daily workflows, review funding requests, and approve critical payroll documents.

Responsibilities include confirming net pay/ACH files, approving bank deposits, validating payrolls, and responding to inquiries while improving PFCAU processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience of clerical and professional staff.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Unit’s daily assignment workflows.
• Review payroll funding requests and approve Payment Requests documents.
• Confirm net pay and ACH files; authorize release.
• Approve daily bank deposits into City accounts.
• Review EFT amounts and approve funding schedules.
• Validate and certify agency payrolls; release payrolls.
• Review reimbursements for EFT credit returns.
• Analyze PFCAU processes and procedures.
• Respond to customer service inquiries.
• Perform accounting tasks as needed.
