Job summary

AbbVie’s Market Access & Patient Services (MAPS) organization seeks a people leader for the Payer Contract Analytics team. You will influence contracting strategies across major PBMs and payer channels, build advanced deal models, and collaborate with BESD to scale analytics reflecting evolving market access dynamics.

You will supervise contract analytics talent, work with Finance, Pricing, and Sales, and ensure pricing strategies maximize net sales while aligning with brand objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong business and financial acumen required for contracting decisions.
• Experience in contracting with emphasis on actuarial modeling, scenario planning, and financial analysis.
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment with cross-functional partners.
• Knowledge of payer landscape and reform changes to inform strategies.
• Experience analyzing payer data sources for contract optimization.
• Ability to communicate complex insights succinctly to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead payer contract analytics across Market Access for AbbVie brands.
• Influence pricing and contracting strategies with major PBMs to maximize GTN.
• Model payer responses and track post-deal performance using ROI analyses.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align access strategies with brand goals.
• Develop and refine contracting models for evolving payer business models.
• Provide data-driven insights to guide executive decision making.
