Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a patient registration lead who will greet and guide patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and provide general information with a high standard of courtesy and confidentiality.

You will work as part of a team, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and ensure accurate patient charts and front-desk operations while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in a medical environment.
• IDX experience, some knowledge of medical insurances preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Computer literate with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead others in providing prompt and accurate patient registrations while delivering good customer service.
• Must be able to multitask and work in a team environment.
• This individual serves as a lead and the front-line contact person for all incoming patients.
• The incumbent will greet, register, schedule and provide general information to patients and/or their families.
• Ensures that insurance information is verified, co-pays are collected, and that patient charts are prepared in advance.
• At all times ensures a high level of customer service by providing patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patient’s Bill of Rights.
