Job summary

You will handle co-pays, authorizations and referrals, while conducting patient outreach through MyChart and other technology platforms to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• One year of registration or billing experience in a medical facility preferred.
• Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform full registration and demographics verification.
• Schedule appointments and manage follow-ups for patients.
• Collect co-pays and reconcile cash drawer daily.
• Update insurance information and obtain authorizations/referrals as needed.
• Utilize MyChart, kiosks, tablets to assist patients upon arrival.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.
