Job summary

Hydro Extrusions USA, LLC in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Lead Packer to pack bundles per pack codes, print batch instructions, and audit bundles to ensure accuracy. You will process material through the AS400 system and help maintain a clean, organized work area on a production line.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, work at a fast pace, and basic Excel skills. A shift-flexible schedule is required; the company offers strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely and effectively to meet or exceed production goals.
  • Process material through AS400 system.
  • Ensure all bundles are packed per the pack codes.
  • Print drawings and instructions for each batch.
  • Audit completed bundles for accuracy.
  • Cut wood and band completed bundles to spec.
  • Cover department in supervisor's absence.
  • Complete SIC boards and production reports.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the area.

Starting Rate of pay: $23.38/hour

What you will be doing
  • Ability to work safely and effectively, meeting or exceeding production goals.
  • Process material through AS400 system.
  • Ensure all bundles are packed per the pack codes.
    • Print all drawings and instructions for each batch.
    • Audit completed bundles for accuracy.
    • Cut wood and band completed bundles to spec.
  • Responsible for department in absence of Supervisor.
  • Complete SIC boards and production reports.
  • Maintenance of housekeeping in the area.

Required Education/Experience:
  • The ability to work any shift is required.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs;
  • Must have ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 years Manufacturing Experience desirable.
  • Knowledge of Fabrication processes is a plus.
  • Basic Computer skills and familiarity with AS400 system a plus.
