Job summary

Hydro Extrusions, a leading aluminium extrusion company, is seeking an Auto Pack Operator for the Gainesville, GA area. The role involves safely operating the Emmebi machine, packing per codes, and managing counts and profiles to meet production goals.

Starting pay is $23.34/hour with a $1.00/hour shift premium, on a 12-hour continental night shift from 7:15 PM to 7:15 AM. Benefits include medical, dental, retirement, education assistance, and parental leave.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Emmebi machine safely and efficiently.
• Process material through AS400 system.
• Ensure all bundles are packed per the pack codes.
• Verify piece counts are correct and profiles are packed.
• Load proper materials and supplies for production.
• Print batch drawings and instructions.

Starting Rate of pay: $23.34/HR

$1.00/HR additional for shift premium

Shifts Available and Hours:

12-hour continental night shift: 7:15 PM - 7:15 AM

What you will be doing

• Ability to work safely and effectively, meeting or exceeding production goals.
• Process material through AS400 system.
• Ensure all bundles are packed per the pack codes.
• Ensure piece counts are accurate and correct profiles are packed.
• Responsible for safe operation of the Emmebi machine.
• Loading proper plastic gauge wrap into machine.
• Load proper size wood battens.
• Print all drawings and instructions for each batch.

Required Education/Experience:

• The ability to work any shift.
• Must complete internal or external assessment to determine appropriatecommunication, math, and problem-solving skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds with a partner.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 years of manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of Fabrication processes is a plus.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fluency in English- both written and verbally.
• Must have ability to work at a fast pace.
• Maintain all the required standards for meeting or exceeding production goals.
• Leadership and coaching.
• Team player; ability to work as a team.
• Self-starter; Adaptable to change.
• Ability to prioritize needs.
