Job summary

Hydro Extrusions in Connersville, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for the B Crew on a permanent basis. Starting pay is $19.51/hour with night and day shift options and shift premium for night hours.

Join a large aluminium extrusion group with potential education assistance and retirement plan matching. Responsibilities include reading work orders and plans, operating equipment safely, lifting and stacking, and maintaining efficiency and housekeeping in the work area.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• Little to no previous work-related skills, knowledge, or experience needed.
• Must work well with others as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and an eagerness to grow.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to use a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
• Safely and efficiently operates assigned equipment or machine.
• Lifts and stacks products.
• Maintains efficiency standards set for assigned areas.
• Maintains good housekeeping of work areas.
• Accurately record numbers or lengths of units handled or moved.
• Must be able to work long hours as needed in seasonal temperatures.

Starting Rate of Pay: $ 19.51/hour

Shifts Available and Hours: Night shift- Mon-Thurs,5:45 pm- 6:00 am

Day shift- EOWEO/ 2-2-3; 5:45 am- 6:00 pm

Shift Premium: Nightshift- $.50/ hour for night shift
