Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a growing manufacturing site in Lakewood, NJ. You will lead a fully staffed maintenance team, coaching and mentoring on the shop floor, spending up to 70% of your day on-site to drive reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, maintenance planning, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a FDA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required; bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• At least five years of maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, consumer products, food, or beverage manufacturing.
• Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and ticketing systems.
• Strong continuous improvement background focused on uptime and efficiencies.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for building a high-performing 24/7 maintenance team in packaging.
• Promotes safety culture, enforces plant safety policies, and manages safety scope with contractors.
• Coordinates, schedules, and allocates maintenance resources for packaging lines.
• Owns safety and productivity KPIs and leads preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintains flexibility to work various shifts and weekends to support operations.
