Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Manager of Outside Plant Engineering to lead a team of engineers and coordinate with vendors. The role ensures design quality, on‑time delivery, and budget compliance across multiple projects in the Pacific Northwest.

You will drive permitting, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑department collaboration while guiding staff through developing and delivering engineering work orders. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentoring of OSP engineering staff.
• Strong collaboration across departments and with vendors.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office and database tools.
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering team and provide leadership and mentorship.
• Oversee engineering work orders, ensure design compliance, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate permitting with municipalities, utilities, and agencies; manage schedules.
• Verify invoices and ensure timely AP processing.
• Travel as needed to project sites.
