Job summary

Ziply Fiber in Beaverton, Oregon, is seeking a Senior OSP Engineer to lead outside plant design, permitting, and project delivery for fiber networks. You will coordinate with planning, construction, ROW, and vendors to produce buildable designs and ensure timely, budget-conscious execution.

The role requires advanced OSP fiber design experience, strong project coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across departments while working reliable hours Pacific Time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of outside plant engineering experience preferred.
• 3+ years in ROW, permitting with local/state/federal entities.
• Knowledge of outside plant design, cable counts and capacity.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and plan outside plant facilities and upgrades.
• Coordinate permitting, ROW, and utility coordination for projects.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.
• Maintain accurate cable records and As-Builts.
