Job summary

Warby Parker seeks an Optical Supervisor in Minneapolis to lead a team of opticians and retail staff on the floor and in back-of-house operations. You will guide service, ensure precise eyewear fitting, and maintain quality standards while upholding Warby Parker’s customer-first approach.

As a licensed optician or ABO-certified professional, you’ll mentor apprentices, tackle daily store operations, and drive sales through exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensed states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• At least 2 years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong customer service and eyewear product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead and mentor Optical team and Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and operations.
