Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our team of in-house optical professionals in Miami. You’ll rely on your optical prowess, leadership, and product knowledge to create exceptional customer experiences and maintain store operations.

As a keyholder, you’ll open/close the store, mentor the Optical team and support the Apprentice Program, while ensuring accuracy in measurements, eyewear fit, and adherence to Warby Parker standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of supervisory responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail, with clear communication.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings clearly.
• Open/close the store, maintain operations as a keyholder.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain store systems, inventory, and daily business ops.
• Foster a positive, productive employee culture.
