Job summary

Eyemart Express is seeking a Lead Optical Retail Sales Associate (Key Holder) to guide patients in selecting eyewear and ensure top-notch service. You will support pricing, promotions, and policy adherence while mentoring junior staff.

This full-time role emphasizes accuracy in prescription handling and customer care. You will contribute to efficient store operations, assist with opening/closing tasks, and manage payment processing with our in-house POS system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, customer service or sales.
• Experience in optical industry preferred.
• Experience in a lead/management role preferred.
• Ability to read prescription specifications accurately.

Responsibilities

• Help patients select eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings that suit their needs.
• Ensure lab technicians have accurate prescription information for grinding, coating, and fitting lenses.
• Dispense completed glasses and educate patients on proper care.
• Assist with opening/closing store operations as needed.
• Provide exceptional service and stay informed on promotions, policies, and payments.
