Job summary

Eyemart Express in Columbia, SC seeks a Lead Optical Retail Sales Associate (Key Holder) to deliver exceptional service, manage daily store operations, and support the management team. You will assist patients with eyewear, ensure prescription accuracy, process payments, and help with stocking and merchandising.

The role requires prior retail or sales experience, leadership ability, and comfort with using an in-house POS system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
• Experience in optical industry preferred.
• Experience in a lead or management position preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prescription specifications for lens fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Ensure prescription information and measurements are accurate for lab processing.
• Dispense glasses and educate patients on proper care.
• Assist with opening/closing store operations as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and current information on promotions and policies.
