Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will act as a lead on jobsites and coordinate with customers to deliver timely, quality service.

The role supports on-site and remote work options with travel as needed across the region, and offers a lucrative hourly rate plus potential incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections.
• Experience with maintenance diagnostics preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in field/mobile settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, electronic and mechanical systems on trucks and trailers.
• Document work performed with photos and notes using company tools and TRAIT app.
• Maintain vehicle and inventory on service truck and coordinate with customers for approvals.
