Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned professional to lead Off Site Manufacturing (OSM) initiatives within the xPL Offsite division. You will guide design and construction teams, ensure safe, cost-efficient offsite solutions, and support preconstruction through execution with DFMA-driven prefabrication strategies.

Responsibilities include vendor coordination, schedule and cost control, and ensuring compliance with AHJ requirements while advancing modular construction within diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field with 6+ years in building/offsite/prefab construction.
• Knowledge of emerging construction tech, cost, scheduling, estimating, and coordination principles.
• Familiarity with BIM and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical implementation of Off Site Manufacturing (OSM) for project engagements and lead design/construction teams.
• Perform detailed analysis of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems for OSM solutions.
• Guide teams on constructability, quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and sequencing for offsite products.
• Determine prefabricated design directions using DFMA for material selections.
• Review designs against AHJ requirements, contractual obligations, and vendor availability.
• Collaborate with design teams to implement offsite strategies in design phase including manufacturing, delivery, and assembly.
• Develop SOWs and responsibility matrices to support OSM strategy; craft bidding strategies for vendors.
