Job summary

Honey Homes is hiring experienced residential remodelers in Palo Alto to execute larger projects with carpentry, electrical, and plumbing expertise. The role is a hands-on on-site position with a project lead providing scope, so you focus on delivering high-quality work on multi-day projects.

Pay is $40/hr with a $1,500 sign-on, plus equity in the business, and full benefits. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with mileage reimbursement and paid holidays/Sick days in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience.
• Multi-trade generalist capable of handling carpentry, electrical, and plumbing without a specialist.
• Self-sufficient on site and able to work without hand-holding.
• Flexible in moving between job types and nearby areas.
• Strong customer skills; able to work in members' homes.
• Attention to detail with clean joints, tidy electrical, leak-free plumbing, and finish work.
• Valid driver's license and your own tools.
• Authorized to work in the US; full-time W-2 role.

Responsibilities

• Execute scoped work on larger residential projects: demo, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, and cleanup.
• Perform dry rot repairs, deck and fence work, doors, trim, and finish carpentry.
• Install and service electrical fixtures, outlets, switches, fans.
• Repair toilets, faucets, valves, minor piping, and bath fixtures.
• Paint exterior and interior, patch and finish walls.
• Follow project lead scope and flag deviations on site.
• Represent Honey Homes professionally on site with clear communication and respect for homes.
