Job summary

Honey Homes is seeking experienced residential remodelers for Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda. You will execute carpentry, electrical, and plumbing on multi-day projects, reporting to a project lead who scopes the job. The role emphasizes on-site skill, professionalism, and client-facing conduct.

Expect a 36/hour wage ($75,000/year) with a $1,000 sign-on bonus after training and 30 days on board, plus mileage, benefits, and a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience.
• True multi-trade generalist who can handle on-site tasks without calling in a specialist.
• Self-sufficient on site once scope is set.
• Flexible with moving between job types and nearby areas.
• Strong customer skills for work in members’ homes.
• Attention to detail in carpentry joints, electrical work, and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Execute the scoped work on larger residential projects: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, and cleanup.
• Perform carpentry tasks: dry rot repair, decks, fences, doors, trim, and finish work.
• Handle electrical: fixtures, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, and small wiring tasks.
• Carry out plumbing: toilets, faucets, valves, minor pipe repair, and bathroom fixtures.
• Paint and drywall: exterior and interior repaints, patching, and finishing.
• Flag any deviations from the plan and communicate with the project lead.
