Job summary

Honey Homes is hiring experienced residential remodelers to handle multi-day projects in Oakland, Berkeley, and Piedmont. You bring carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills to execute work already sold and scheduled, with no bidding or invoicing involved.

Expect a hands-on, on-site role as a true multi-trade generalist on a friendly team, with a 36/hour base rate, a $1,500 sign-on bonus after training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience across carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Self-sufficient on site once the scope is set.
• Valid driver's license and own tools; ability to work on multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Execute scoped work on larger residential projects: demo, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, cleanup.
• Perform dry rot repair, decks, fences, doors, trim, and finish work.
• Install fixtures, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, and basic wiring tasks.
• Handle plumbing tasks: toilets, faucets, valves, minor pipe repair, fixtures.
• Paint and patch exterior and interior surfaces; ensure quality finish.
• Work from the project lead's scope and flag issues on site.
• Be the face of Honey Homes on site with clear communication and professionalism.
