Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Houston seeks a Lead Mobile Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the assigned facility. The role may involve supervising maintenance staff and coordinating with contractors to sustain reliability and safety across building services.

Responsibilities include daily operations, preventive maintenance, reporting, compliance with codes, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; apprentice/trade program preferred.
• 5+ years of related trade experience operating MEP systems in a commercial property.
• Appropriate licenses (Journeyman/Master Electrician, city licenses) and EPA Section 608 certification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and maintenance of MEP systems and general maintenance.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and coordinate activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks: change filters, lubricate motors, replace lamps/ballasts/fixtures, inspect belts, bearings, and align shafts.
• Recommend improvements to preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and technicians; maintain stock and inventory.
