Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mobile Operating Engineer in Houston to ensure efficient operation of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems across assigned properties. You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor energy use, and handle routine repairs while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, EPA Universal Certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED. Travel between properties and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial properties.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Trade/apprentice program or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating and cooling equipment (DX units, pumps, FCUs, VAVs, package units, split systems).
• Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment to maintain comfort (controls, thermostats, etc.).
• Verify field conditions and perform repairs or adjustments.
• Monitor energy management and safety compliance.
