Cox Fleet, headquartered in Indianapolis and serving nationwide, is hiring a Lead Mobile Diesel Technician in Mesa, AZ. The role performs licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced diagnostics on trucks and trailers, while mentoring teammates and coordinating with the Mobile Technician Manager.

Expect a high degree of customer interaction and field leadership. The position emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficiency, with the service-truck lifestyle, tools, and TRAIT app

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED required; combinations with higher degrees/certs and 5+ years experience acceptable.
• ASE T8 (PMI), ASE 608/609, and ASE C1 certifications to be obtained within 18 months.
• DOT regulatory knowledge and ability to pass DOT medical and background checks.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work on the road with a service truck.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy trucks in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles; document findings and upload RO photos via TRAIT app.
• Mentor and coach Mobile Technicians; support MTM and assist with quality control inspections.
• Ensure safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and proper parts inventory management.
