Job summary

Cox Fleet in Baltimore is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile environment. You will diagnose, repair, and triage advanced mechanical/hydraulic/electrical systems on light through heavy-duty vehicles, often at customer sites.

You must hold a HS diploma and 5 years’ related experience, obtain ASE T8 and 608/609 within 18 months, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations. Safety and reliability are core to this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ related experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) and ASE 608/609 within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on trucks.
• Maintain service truck, parts inventory and document repairs with RO.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety policies.
