RTX’s Effectors PG&C Center in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Missile Guidance, Navigation, & Control Engineer to help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for 6-DoF simulations and flight software.

The role requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of GNC or modeling/simulation experience, proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C/C++, and the ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance; US citizenship is required.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• GNC, signal processing, and/or modeling/simulation exposure.

Mansioni

• Develop, integrate, and test embedded missile flight code.
• Perform system-level performance studies and analyses.
• Lead backlog creation and agile planning within IPT.
• Mentor engineers and improve execution efficiency.
• Support missile performance analysis including Monte Carlo assessments.
