Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee planning and delivery of our HVAC/sheet metal operations on commercial projects. You will review drawings, coordinate with vendors, and manage schedules and budgets.

You will lead site teams, ensure safety, and collaborate with pre-construction, procurement, and fabrication shops. This role requires strong communication, PM skills, and experience with CAD/BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of PM experience on commercial mechanical/HVAC projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems, codes, air distribution, fabrication and installation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated with problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction PM software; able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with project teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with pre-construction, sales, safety, estimating, CAD/BIM, and fabrication shops.
• Develop and maintain mechanical project schedules and equipment delivery timelines.
• Review submittals (AHUs, RTUs, chillers, pumps, VAV, VRF, exhaust).
• Scope quotes, procure materials, and supervise subcontractors for mechanical trades.
• Monitor field progress, safety, quality, and budget adherence.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting to leadership.
• Oversee change orders and documentation; manage logs and close-out.
