The Lead Medical Support Assistant (MSA) for the Outpatient and Community Based Outpatient Clinics Section of the Health Administration Service at the Orlando VA Healthcare System supports patient care and coordinates clinic operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, appointments, patient check-ins/check-outs, coordination of tests and procedures, medication lists, and communication with clinical staff; you will mentor staff and ensure compliance with policies; regular work schedule

Formación

• Education is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for federal employment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate clinic cancellations and schedules, appointment scheduling and changes, and check-ins/check-outs.
• Coordinate tests and treatment orders, verify upon action and ensure documentation is complete.
• Provide patient instructions for tests, prepare instructional sheets, and manage medication lists at visits.
