Duly Health and Care in Joliet, IL seeks a Lead Medical Assistant to combine direct patient care with leadership duties. You will mentor teammates, support daily clinic operations, and help sustain high-quality access and patient experiences.

The role emphasizes coaching MAs, improving workflows, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards while supporting providers and leadership. This is a full-time on-site position in Joliet.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program.
• Certified or registered preferred but not necessary.
• CPR Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years MA/CMA experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical support to providers, including rooming patients and assisting with procedures.
• Supports efficient patient flow and maintains an organized clinical environment.
• Executes day-to-day care team activities to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Serves as a resource for Medical Assistants, offering guidance and support.
• Assists with onboarding, training, and development of clinical staff.
• Maintains adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborates with providers and clinic leadership to support a cohesive patient experience.
• Communicates effectively across teams and escalates issues as appropriate.
