Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to join the Operations Maintenance Team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

You will promote safety, perform preventative maintenance with documentation, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, track work orders, and coach junior technicians while collaborating across the facility’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 1+ years of reading electrical schematics.
• 1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with a CMMS system.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation; troubleshoot MHE electrical/mechanical issues.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close out work orders with labor hours and parts data; track inventory.
• Support: Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Communication: Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
