Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead a team in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and mentor technicians.

You will oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyor systems, implement safety programs, and coordinate work orders while collaborating with the Operations team. A strong background in PLCs, CMMS, and schematics is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
• 2+ years with PLC programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: troubleshoot all conveyor systems, install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures; mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain positive working relationships across Operations facility.
