Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor for a Lake Charles LNG project. You will monitor subcontractor planning, safety, quality and technical activities, coordinating field staff to align with established schedules and safe work methods.

Responsibilities include monitoring schedules, reviewing methods, coordinating external interfaces, and ensuring conformance with drawings and specifications across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff within the area of responsibility.
• Role supports on mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders' involvement.
• Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
• Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
• Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
• Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements.
• Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
• Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
• Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
• Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
