You will oversee cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and coordinate with electrical, controls, and structural engineering groups for cohesive delivery.

You will mentor junior engineers, set technical standards, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across all designs. This role travels to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in material handling equipment or automation environments.
• Experience in project management with scheduling and task priorities.
• Experience in leading teams.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and CAD software.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical design of automated fulfillment center projects and lead cross-functional teams.
• Direct layouts for material handling systems and select equipment types.
• Coordinate with electrical, controls, and structural teams for integrated designs.
• Provide direction on engineering decisions and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and quality standards across designs.
• Travel to sites for audits, issue resolution, and field support.
